Operations Data on Demand

The SAFCA Operations Portal accumulates daily, hourly, and instantaneous event data measurements available on CDEC, CNRFC, WCDS and USGS to provide a comprehensive picture of the current status of reservoir operations in the American River Watershed.

Use of Open-Source Technology

This web application is built in the Django web framework, and leverages visualization libraries written in JavaScript. The site is currently hosted using Amazon Web Services. MBK Engineers has developed data collection, analyis and visualization routines in the Python programming language.
